45th Northwest Artists' Exhibition

The Northwest Artists' Exhibition is an annual juried exhibition open to those who live in or near
Northwestern North Carolina.

Eligibility and Entry Fee
The competition is open to artists who live in or near the northwest region of North Carolina. An entry fee of $15 per entry is payable when work is dropped off at the gallery. However, members receive either two or five free entries (see below):

Student, Individual, and Family memberships:
2 free juried exhibition entries

Artist, Van Gogh, Rockwell, Matisse, O’Keeffe, Bearden, and Rembrandt memberships:
5 free juried exhibition entries
Divisions
Division I: Paintings, Drawings, Lithographs, etc.
Division II: Sculpture, Pottery, Metals, etc.
Division III: Mixed Media, Collage, Fibers
ARTISTS WILL ONLY BE ABLE TO SUBMIT THREE PIECES PER CATEGORY - NINE PIECES IN TOTAL

Margaret Bloomfield Award: Best in Show- $500
Edith Marie Carter Award- $100
People’s Choice- $100 (voted on July 19th-20th, awarded July 23rd)

Entry Drop Off Dates:
Tuesday, July 9th, 10:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Wednesday July 10th, 10:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
EARLY / LATE SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
Pick Up Dates:
Thursday, August 29th: 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday, September 3rd: 10:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
If you are wanting to submit work into this exhibition, please download the 45th Northwest Artists' Exhibition prospectus. Read the directions and fill out the needed information. Contracts will be collected on drop-off dates. Labels will need to be attached to the submissions.
