Poets and Players Open Mic Night

Poets and Players Open Mic Night is a musical event celebrating local musicians and writers. This event will provide a comfortable space to perform and share your love for music and poetry. Poets and Players Open Mic Night will be held at Wilkes Art Gallery on September 29th, 2023. Sign-ups start at 6:00 p.m. with performances starting at 6:30 p.m. You may also sign-up in advance on our website.

This is a free event for all ages and all musicians and poets. With no specific genre, this open mic night is sure to provide entertainment for all. Concessions will be provided during this event with a recommended donation.Sojourner will also be on display during this event, with works by Bill Johnston, Samuel and Ashly Burr, Crystal Hurt, Dawn Wicklow, and pieces from the Wilkes Art Gallery Permanent Collection.
