Wilkes Art Gallery is now accepting scholarship applications from graduating Wilkes County seniors who are pursuing postsecondary education in visual and/or graphic arts. The Wilkes Art Gallery Scholarship awards up to $1,000 to qualifying applicants. The purpose of the scholarship program is to recognize and encourage students who demonstrate exceptional potential and ability in visual arts, as well as academic achievement.

The awarding process for this scholarship includes a completed application, official high school transcript, two letters of recommendation, a portfolio, and a panel interview. Once finalists are selected, the Gallery will contact you to schedule an interview. The scholarship winners will be awarded at their senior awards assembly.

Applications should be dropped off at Wilkes Art Gallery or mailed to 913 C Street, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659.​
