The Powers of Poetry: Free One-Day Camp w/ Phillip Shabazz

For middle and high school students

June 25th | 1pm - 3pm

Have you ever wanted to write poetry but you didn't know where to start? Join us for a one-day poetry camp geared towards middle and high school students! During this session, students will receive a poetry packet, hear poems, take notes, write original poems, read them aloud, and receive constructive feedback. This naturally engages them in a great deal of writing, verbal interaction, higher-level thinking, and critical analysis.

This one-day camp is FREE for any middle and high school students who would like to attend. This camp is for responsive and committed students who take writing seriously and support and celebrate each other’s work!
