From our beginnings in 1962 to the work we do today, Wilkes Art Gallery has always strived to be the unique combination of a beautiful art gallery space for local and regional artists, and an arts council resource to grow the arts in our community.
Because we know that a community where the arts thrive is key to growth, we are committed to the long-term cultivation of the arts; high-quality art instruction, a beautiful FREE public art gallery, a place where regional artists can show and sell their work, and a way to connect art and artists to the community in various outreach programs and events.
